Our operations focus on physical coffee trading, market development, and long-term relationships with suppliers and customers. As part of our growth, we are seeking a motivated Junior Coffee Trader to join our team in Thessaloniki.
Position Summary
The Junior Coffee Trader will support the trading desk in daily commercial activities related to green coffee trading. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build a long-term career in commodity trading. The role combines market analysis, client interaction, logistics coordination, and exposure to international coffee markets.
Key Responsibilities
Trading & Commercial Support
Assist senior traders in day-to-day coffee trading activities
Support execution of purchase and sales contracts
Monitor coffee market movements, prices, and fundamentals
Prepare market summaries, price comparisons, and internal reports
Maintain and update trading records, positions, and contracts
Client & Supplier Interaction
Communicate with clients and suppliers in Serbian, Greek, and English
Support relationship management with existing customers
Assist in onboarding new clients and maintaining commercial databases
Coordinate offers, confirmations, and follow-ups
Logistics & Operations
Liaise with logistics, warehousing, and quality control partners
Support shipment tracking, documentation, and delivery schedules
Assist in resolving operational issues related to shipments or contracts
Market Development & Learning
Develop understanding of coffee origins, qualities, and specifications
Follow global coffee news, crop developments, and macro trends
Participate in internal training and gradually take on more trading responsibility
Education & Experience
University degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Agriculture, International Trade, or a related field
Fresh graduates are welcome; 0–2 years of relevant experience is a plus
Language Skills (Mandatory)
Serbian – fluent
Greek – fluent
English – fluent
Additional languages are a strong advantage
