Based in Lausanne (Pully) and reporting to the Global Financial Planning Manager, we are looking for a:
Financial Analyst
We are looking for a Financial Analyst to support our Group’s Finance function at ECOM. In this role, you will help our Global Financial Planning Manager in all areas of reporting and financial planning & analysis (FP&A).
This role is ideal for someone analytical, detail‑oriented, results focused, tech-savvy and eager to grow within a dynamic trading environment.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting:
· Produce, review, and rationalize the monthly management reporting packs for the Executive Committee and the ECOM Board.
· Drive the monthly close reporting process, including timely follow‑ups and coordination with stakeholders.
· Perform detailed financial analysis of monthly results, ensuring accuracy and integrity across apex, FX, and one‑off/special transactions.
· Analyse prior‑month results and variances, digging into data to identify root causes and inconsistencies.
· Ensure data accuracy and consistency through systematic cross‑referencing and validation of financial and operational data (e.g. headcount reports).
· Proactively identify recurring data errors and implement corrective actions to stop repetition of issues month after month.
· Act as a key liaison across departments and commodities to collect, validate, explain, and challenge financial information.
· Respond to ad hoc reporting requests and evolving management information needs.
· Actively simplify reporting processes and contribute to changes in the way reporting is structured and delivered, preparing for transitions to new processes, systems, and tools.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
· Support the annual budget process, including redesigning budget templates and reporting packs.
· Consolidate annual budgets and CAPEX requests at Group level and ensure ongoing CAPEX tracking and follow‑up.
· Support the preparation of the Group annual business plan and the 5‑year strategic business plan.
· Deliver financial analysis for special projects, including investment analysis, asset valuation, and cash flow analysis, as required by the business.
· Contribute to the evolution of FP&A processes, helping the Group move towards more efficient, technology‑enabled ways of working.
PROFILE AND EXPERIENCE:
· FP&A / Reporting support profile, assisting with monthly close reporting, ad hoc analyses, CAPEX tracking, and review of prior‑month results, with a strong focus on data accuracy.
· Detail‑oriented and analytical, comfortable working with data (e.g. headcount reports), identifying errors, and escalating or helping to fix recurring issues.
· Eager to learn, support key senior stakeholders in simplifying reporting processes, and contributing to the transition to new tools and improved ways of reporting.
· Strong accounting fundamentals highly valued.
· Excellent attention to detail and strong prioritization skills.
· Hands‑on and proactive, able to work independently and take ownership.
· Comfortable working deep in the data and challenging inconsistencies.
· Solid technology mindset and openness to new systems, tools, and reporting approaches.
· Able to support change and process transformation in a fast‑moving environment.
· Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and PAX, with the ability to use these tools effectively for analysis and reporting.
· Able to collaborate across teams, geography, and functions.
· A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a Finance/accounting function in a multi-national environment.
· Fluent in English.
· Start date – as soon as possible.
